1. lol in your face, Nishizaki, I'm glad everything went wrong for you! :p
2. Did Takashina FINALLY realise that Nishizaki doesn't care about him at all?
3. Kurosaki is really my favourite character, I think. He's hilarious.
4. I was going to say "no rice this week?" but then I remembered Tokai did complain to Nishizaki about Teika's lack of rice cooker.
5. At the end I was thinking "didn't the preview have Saeki collapsing and Nino doing a jdrama run?" but then they both happened in the last minute, haha. Good preview work, editors.
6. Nekota and Miwa's scene was so creepy! I loved it. :D
7. I spelled Iinuma Tatsuji right in my episode 1 subs, hooray! \o/
8. Sera and Miwa, awkard detectives are great, I would watch their useless detectives spin-off any time.

1. YES! Agreed!

2. TBH! I didn't expect Takashina-sensei to not realize his scheme at all. Like, Takashina-sensei is sneaky enough to not put Dr. Saeki's name on his SNIPE paper, why would he not realize that? Maybe he's way too loyal to Dr. Nishizaki, but still...

5. LOL EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS XD
Good job to the staffs choosing the preview, I guess XDD

6. I LOVE IT! I know I might be biased since I love Nekota, but still that scene was gold!!!

8. I LOVE THAT ONE! Looking forward to their detective adventure more!!!

+. I actually love how Sera discussed his thoughts on Dr. Saeki's hand wavering during the operation with Tokai-sensei. For 2 reasons: because he's grown enough to actually notice that and that he decided to discuss it with Tokai-sensei, who's supposedly on par in term of skill with Dr. Saeki (like, you won't simply discuss that with just anyone since they'll most likely doubt/look down on Sera) AND also technically his mentor~

++. I wonder if Miwa actually ended up searching Iinuma Tatsuji from the PC? Like she could do that as Nekota left afterwards but...idk?

Thank you for subbing this! Looking forward to next episode >v

2. I feel like I get more angry at Takashina every time! Get it together, man!

+ That was really nice. And in the previous episode he and Miwa talked about asking Tokai about Kinoshita, too. It's nice to see their trust in him goes that far, I guess?

++ Right! I would have done, but idk about Miwa...

Vindication that Nishizaki and Saeki fell to their hubris in this episode, with the former failing spectacularly despite his plotting and the latter collapsing even though he wasn't in a terribly fit state to go through with things. People from Teika seem to be utter prats, as they were in previous episodes.

Will Takashina do some scheming to get back at Nishizaki?

We didn't see the rice, but we did the rice bowl and the transparent plastic egg carton (with eggs!) on the table of the nap room at some point.

For a moment I thought Iinuma Tatsuji was an anagram for Unaim[ed] Justitia (read: Unaimed Justice), then I realised Japanese doesn't work the same way in English/Latin for anagrams. Could Iinuma be Saeki's nom de guerre or whatever while seeking treating at Sakura Hospital? Or is Iinuma an actual bloke, say the chap with the pean in x-ray?

What does Neko know about Iinuma? What does Saeki have on head nurse that she's so willing to cover his arse?

I really hope Takashina will actually turn against Nishizaki soon. The SNIPE and Darwin/Caesar have already become better-known in Japan thanks to the papers and demonstrations, so I don't even see how sticking with him would help Takashina's aims any, ore.

Ah yes, the egg carton too! (Doesn't he eat any vegetables though?)

I think the name on the X-ray in episode 1 was Iinuma, but it could be Saeki's pseudonym still. Well, hopefully we'll find out soon!

I really wonder how much Neko knows, too. I know Tokai seems to trust her work, but would he talk to her about his personal history and his family?

Oh.. Man. I had to go back and watch episode 1 again the black pean finally we'll get to know what it's about .

The way Tokai was in this episode though. Is he helping Saeki in a way. I mean he keeps saying he wants to bring him down, but mostly ends up helping him somewhat. Though I hope it's a grand taking out after all that Saeki has done. Though with him needing surgery and Tokia the best there is,it looks like Tokia wins anyway.. Maybe that's how he gets revenge for his father.

It was great to watch Tokai take out Nishizaki. It was well executed and in front of all the panel. Also I feel maybe the reason he put out for Kobayashi to get the surgery was just so he could get more info out of the father.

Poor Takashina forger being disillusioned. I hope he has learned his lesson at least about Nishizaki.

Sera has grown so much.. So proud to see how well Tokai has trained him.

And Neko! Neko is literally the best. I hope we get a second season of just the history of how Tokai and Neko became demons together.

I have the same question about Takashina! He needs to get out from under Nishizaki's control soon.

Sera is definitely learning a lot...
