episode 2 spoilers

Updated 1 May.

1. Nino ♥♥♥♥♥
2. Nekota! :D
3. Please give Aoi more to do!
4. So many lefties in this episode! I feel like that's on the SNIPE manufacturer. Surely they should have thought about the existence of left-handed people at some point during its development.
5. I don't know why the surgeries where they just make a small incision are so much more horrible to look at than the open surgeries but for me they REALLY ARE. Good job I'm not a surgeon.
6. Man, they really don't want me to be able to translate "jama" consistently, do they?

I'll probably add more to this once I rewatch/sub.

7. The emergency patient transfer comes from “Sakuranomiya hospital”... I think this is more Team Batista continuity stuff? On Sera’s transfer form, he writes that he wants to be transferred to this hospital.
8. The journal editor is in on all this shady business too?? Wow :/

9. Tokai’s mum sent him even more rice, ahaha.

10. This argument between Tokai and Takashina about hypothetical future patients is SUCH BULLSHIT oh my god.

11. Yakiniku! What a cute factory boss :D

12. The scene where Sera runs upstairs to yell at Takashina... Saeki is really actually evil here. I do like Takashina much more after this episode though. And Nino (Tokai) smirking to himself in the back... great.

13. Sera’s panic at the end about apologising is adorable and hilarious XD.

14. Apparently Tokai pushing Sera’s stuff on the floor was an ad lib and the script just said “Tokai does something”.

The lines “Oh, you were watching? Why didn't you do it, then?” were also ad libbed by Nino.

15. This amused me: a short three minutes.

Yeah, the surgeons vs tech thing seems very exaggerated. Even if the snipe is accepted, it can only do one kind of operation, anyway!

It probably isn't true but I am choosing to imagine that Aoi is deliberately spying on him for nefarious purposes, haha.

Sera's crying doesn't bother me yet, but even after only watching one episode my husband was making fun of his "single tear" scenes.

As for the documentary, you mean the navi? If no one has subbed it by the time the drama is done, I'll think about it I guess, but it will probably go in a locked comm if so.

My husband was laughing that a patient is (supposedly) dying and the doctors are sitting around and arguing, instead of saving his life :D
It's sad that there are no powerful women's characters, the only ones are nurses and they neither speak nor do much :(
I did mean the navi, thanks for your efforts!

There do seem to be a few female doctors and residents in background shots, at least, but it would definitely be nice to have a more prominent female character.
